Golden Pen Award
The Golden Pen Award is unique in that it is chosen entirely by you, our members!
Members can vote on which poem should receive this award, but you only have one vote... so use it wisely.
When voting, bear in mind that it doesn't have to be the best poem you have ever read... you can vote based on effort, inspiration, perhaps a young author who is learning and deserves a little extra exposure, whichever you think really deserves the win.
In a change to previous awards, those nominated but not winners will get a second chance, the vote count is reduced by 1 for all runner-ups and those still with votes remaining are carried forward to the following month! However we no longer make nominations public.
The winner is announced on the 1st of every month.
